Beyond Expectation Environmental Project
In this film we follow Lindela Mjenxane as he guides a group of young children out of their chaotic township lives and into the safe beauty of Table Mountain National Park on a two day hiking adventure.
Lindela is the founder of Beyond Expectation Environmental Project (BEEP) which is a local grassroots organization that utilizes nature to conduct workshops for township school children in a tranquil and relaxed environment.
This alternative, still environment, along with Lindela‘s gentle encouragement, gives the children much-needed space to reflect on the many hardships that they face in life, and empowers them to move more confidently towards a free and inspired future.

Film Maker
Butterfly Films is run by Anna Telford, a British filmmaker with over 8 years experience in the film industry who has worked alongside world-renowned British filmmakers such as Jonathan Glazer, Peter Cattaneo and Nick Broomfield. Her most recent project of note is the multi-award winning Docu-Drama Feature Film, 'Battle for Haditha.' She moved to South Africa in 2008 in order to set up Butterfly Films and greatly enjoys collaborations with other filmmakers.
